Thanks guys for the replys.. I thought id try anything at this stage so I slapped the SQL 2000 back on to give it a go! At my witts end! I could not for the life of me get SQLEXPRESS to show CLASSIFIEDSDB nor could I get ASPNETDB created... As far as I know
these have to show as a database on the server, yes?
Ill try the repair option,,, Ill reinstall SQLEXPRESS first though... if you have any suggestions on how to get SQLEXPRESS to show my databases please let me know. Do I have to create a blank database with the name 'CLASSIFIEDSDB' and run the SQL scripts
in APP_DATA? I wouldnt have thought so though as its been created already.
I also followed the link to that other guys page showing how to run and use the ASPNET_REGSQL.exe but still no luck - My SQLSERVER wont connect and no databases show up.
Feel free to reply !!!! :)
