Most will load the MDF's for you but if you are trying to learn ASP you want to make frequent changes, adding new tables etc then it soon becomes impractical.
Ok, again, I haven't deployed to a 3rd party host yet. All my deployment is to internal servers we manage.
But, if a 3rd party host will load an MDF, why can't a user:
- Create a simple database
- Get the 3rd party host to load the MDF
- Manage all other database changes via SQL Server Management Studio Express.
What are the snags to using SMS to manage the database yourself once the initial MDF is loaded by the 3rd party host?
