I need to email a web page, (open outlook, and allow the user to send the email. I want to keep the format of the page when outlook opens. Is there a way to send a DIV tag with the HTML and format to outlook for the user to send the email?
I have a button that opens outlook as:
Is it possible to send the div tag keeping the html format? All email clients are set set HTML format, so they're able to see HTML. When I send the div tag to the body, nothing appears in the email.
window.location="mailto:?subject=sales&body=" + $("#carlocation").html();
carlocation is the div tag that has all of the HTML form content

Your approach will not work. You need to write code to send an email from the web server.

Hi About IGotYourDotNet,
You are always required to tell the mail method who are the receivers one way or another no matter in the client side or in the server side.
Any other problems now? If so, please feel free to let us know.
