Background: I have been working on SSIS and WCF from past 2 months. I have gathered basic working knowledge in these two areas along with SQL.
Requirement: there is a flat file with about 300 rows. I have an ETL package running which reads this flat file data. I need to use a web service within this SSIS package to save this data into the database.
So far achieved:
1. I am able to create an ETL package to read the flat file.
2. I am able to create WCF service to save into DB using web forms as the client.
Issue: I need a way to send this extracted flat file information to my WCF service. I am trying to use file operations, but I am stuck in this box. Is there a better way to achieve this?

A flat file is just string data. So you know what the string data is using some kind of breakdown where you could use some kind of delamination, like coma delimited, as an example. You could also take the data and make it XML or even Json and send it as
string data to the WCF service where the WCF method would work with the data.
