I have a website developed in asp.net 4.0
And I have few pdf files hosted on site.
The problem that I am facing is...
Those pdf files doesn't open in the mozilla firefox 9.0
This happens on the few machines at my workplace.
Does any one have any idea about this?

doesn't open in the mozilla firefox 9.0
means are downloading( save as).
if they open in IE, is because of an addon.
Search addon for mozilla too.

This generally happens if you have a default pulgin for a browser. I came across a similar issue some time back. Try installing Adobe Reader in the machines you are trying to open and check if it works..

What I am using is...
<a href="../doc/Guide.pdf">Open Pdf</a>
I don't think this could cause any such a problem

Try this in your code behind once..
string path ="../doc/Guide.pdf" ;
string jsFoo = "var pdf = window.open(' + path + ','_blank', 'width=1400, height = 850');pdf.moveTo(0,0);";
ScriptManager.RegisterStartupScript(Page, Page.GetType(), "blah", jsFoo, true);
See if this works..
