Anyone have any experience with this captcha... http://www.codeproject.com/KB/custom-controls/CaptchaControl.aspx
I compiled it using VS2008 and targeted .netframework 3.5. Works fine on my dev machine (windows 7 32 bit); won't display the image on the test server (Windows Server 2008 Web 32 bit) . Granted apppool administrator rights, and verified http status=200
codes in log files - still no image.
Any troubleshooting tips, etc would be appreciated.

Well, i THOUGHT i was set. Turns out this captcha also does NOT display an image on the webserver (see original post above). Works fine in dev, naturally. On the test server there's no image. I get the same behavior from IE and Firefox. I double checked
that the web.config entry exists, and that the .dll and .xml files exist in the bin directory.
What I'm looking for is the IIS switch 'allow mscaptcha generated image' or something.
Any ideas how to troubleshoot this?

I didn't want to do it because I'm still a bit loyal to microsoft, but i had to go with google's recaptcha since i just couldn't get the mscaptcha server problem solved.

I have used this numerous times in several projects, and it's extremely simple to setup.
it is third party software, please care that.
