This is more of a methodology question:
I have an asp.net page that generates a report from data within my SQL database. This page allows the user to custimize the report (Add time frames, quantities, products, etc). There are about 15 different parameters that they can custimize. When they
click "Generate Report" I'd like it to display the report in a new window (want to add printability of this page in the future). What's the best method for this?
Normally I just display it on the same webpage so it's easy to run a stored procedure and set it to a grid view on the current page, or set differnent labels. How do I do this if it's on another page? Does anyone have any good examples or methods they
I'm not even what the proper lingo is to google it. Thanks!

I'm using a web hosting service. Is SSRS something that's available on most web hosting services or is this a speciality item?

you should check with your provider if SSRS supported by them. As far as I know
Winhost fully support it.
