When I try and access helpers like "Analytics" in my new Web Pages (Razor) project in VWD2010 it does not recognise the helper.
I am not using WebMatrix.
I tried adding "System.Web.Helpers.dll" to the "Bin" folder but didn't help.
What do I need to do to get helpers to work?

The Analytics helper is not in System.Web.Helpers. It is in Microsoft.Web.Helpers, which is also known as the ASP.NET Web Helpers Library available via Nuget:
Right click on your project and choose Add Library Package Reference. Then use the search facility.

As a follow-up point, the ASP.NET web helpers are now available in a 1.15 version. You will see several previous versions of the Helpers package available, but you only need the latest 1.15 version. The main difference between this and the previous package
is they have removed the Bing.AdvancedSearchBox api from the from Bing search helper. When you install the helpers package as suggested in the previous post, you should see the new 1.15 package as one of the available options to install.
