Recommedations for learning ASP.NET 3.5. "Beginner"

What is the best book, and video tutorials for learning ASP.NET 3.5?
I have basic knowledge in Python and Java as far as programming goes, and even the "knowledge" part is questionable. :)
I need to learn .NET for work and wanted to get a jump on it with the best video tutorials and a good book to flip through.

I picked up the O'Reilly book on the iPod Touch and have been going through that since I can take it with me. Not bad, but is there something better?

Which videos do I start with? I went into the section before and wasn't sure which ones were the best to start with.
Also, I've heard the Wrox books are good, anyone know?
