I want to show advertisements by other on my website. I am new to this.
I got to know, there is method used in online advertisement called CPM ( cost per thousand, where M is thousand in Roman). So , suppose for banner advertisement, CPM is $5, hence, if 1000 users click the banner , you will get $5 .
But there is no measure available with me to check how many users actually clicked it. Is there any way to check this?
Also, i would like to avoid this & charge fixed rate, no matter how many users will click the banner in future. This is done?
I mean, do website charge fixed rate as well ? ( rate which does not depend on how many users will click the advertised logo or banner)

You could have:
1. Pay per click - an Internet advertising model used on search engines, advertising networks, and content websites, such as blogs, where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on an advertisement to visit the advertisers' website.
2. Pay per lead - online advertising payment model in which payment is based solely based on qualifying leads.
3. Pay per action - an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action (a purchase, a form submission, and so on) linked to the advertisement.
4. Yes, you could have fixed rate - by example $100 per month per ad.
You could create a system on your website which will count how many users click on your ads.
