This must be too obvious since everywhere I have looked it says that in order to create a mobile web application all you have to do is to choose web application project, delete default.aspx and then just add a mobile web form to the project. Well, since
I can't find any mobile web forms on my templates list, what can I do next ?

Which version exactly of VS2005 SP1 are you using, Express, Standard, Professional or Team? You can find out by help ---> about.
I have just added a mobile page to one of my existing test sites using VS2005 SP1 Pro.

You should therefore be able to add a mobile web to an existing web site.
Are you able to de-install and re-install Visual Studio? It is possible that your installation has been corrupted.

Have to take a look at this ... I'm about to move to VS 2008 environment soon, so we'll see if this problem occurs there again. I'm also in that kind of understanding that you should be able to add mobile pages to your web app easily. But we'll see if VS
2008 changes anything ;)
