I read a little about ASP.net 2.0 features about ClientScriptManager which can process partial postback from button which can increase processing speed and eficent. Is this same with technology that used with AJAX in UpdatePanel and its ScriptManager ?

These are two different things all together. The ClientScriptManager is a class in .NET. Read this
script in the html rendered code.
On the other hand, the scriptmanager & updatepanel are rather controls, that enable the AJAXed partial postback feature in .NET
Hope its clear now.

Sorry I mean System.Web.UI.IPostBackEventHandler with RaisePostBackEvent. Is this work like updated panel AJAX which update small part only not render all. Is this true ? How do this work so update partial only with IPostBackEventHandler ?
