Hi all,

I get the following error if I try to create a new costumer SharePoint site via provtest/SampleProvisioningUI in MPS 4.0.

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Microsoft.Provisioning.Providers.SharePointProvider.WebService.SPAdminWS.CreateSite(String siteUrl, String ownerLogin, String ownerEmail, String ownerName, String title, String description, UInt32 lcid, String webTemplate, String hostHeaderUrl) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at Microsoft.Provisioning.Providers.SharePointProvider.WebService.SPAdminWS.CreateSite(String siteUrl, String ownerLogin, String ownerEmail, String ownerName, String title, String description, UInt32 lcid, String webTemplate, String hostHeaderUrl)

I'm using SharePoint Services 3.0 (SP1) on Windows 2003 R2 (SP2).

All help would be greatly appreciated!

HI you running windows 64bit or 32 bit on the sharepoint server?

ALso you have installed the sharepoint admin service as well?
