I just started getting the above message, with a second error, stating: "Asp.Net Development Server failed to start listening on port 1110." Anyone with knowledge of this problem, please let me know.

    Hi,

To better understand your issue, please confirm the following information:

If we create another type project, does it have any issue?

Do any virus software in your machine to prevent Asp.Net Development Server? If so, you can try to reconfigure your virus software.

You also can try to refer to http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/Workaround.aspx?FeedbackID=102138

    I hope this helps.

Please remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.

I had trouble connecting to the Internet also. I finally found the solution with a Google search (on a borrowed computer). Turns out that my winsock had become corrupted. Since fixing that, VWD seems to be doing better.
