I've just posted mywebsite andthis error keep being trhrown as soon as I access the DB

I dont understand what is going on and if I dont get it working bu today will delivery date will expire and I will get in trouble...

So anyone knows what is going on

It says the following:

An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server.  When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

Here is my con string :

<add name="ASPNETDBConnectionString" connectionString="Data Source=p3swhsql-v09.shr.secureserver.net;Initial Catalog=myCatalog;User ID=MyID;Password='Mypassword"/>

In you string Password='Mypassword .. is that ' ..I think its by mistake..

Just change the SQL Server Security : there is server Authentication which provides 2 radio buttons

1.Windows Authntication

2.Sql Server & windows authntication mode..

in your case 1st one is selcted so just select the 2nd one and try to connect.

Did I mention that my website is online?

You thiunk that i should remove the ' sign in order for it to work?

From Sql Server 2005 Surface AREA Configuration, make sure your database engine service (MSSQLSERVER) is running and remote connection is set to allow both remote and local connections.

(All programs>>SQL Server 2005>>Configuration Tools>>SQL Server Surface Area Configuration>> Surface Area Configuration For services and connections >> turn on services you want here under Database Engine -- Service and Remote Connections)
