Hi,

I am a novice programmer. I have this problem and can't seem to find an answer to my problem. I have two tables, an artist and a category table. the artist table have the following fields, name, artist_id and cat_id, and my category table have the following fields, cat_id and category_name. Both tables is connected to each other. 

 I would like to insert artist names, in form view, and choose the category from a drop downlist. I have no idea how to do this. Can anybody help me.

you can also

in FormView Choose push the samr arrow edite template

and in ansetr mode go to the category text box and add a dropDownList

 push the smart arrow again and shoose select data sourse

then in the wizard windo select ur data source and then select the data that you want to be display and the value that u want to be enter the table.

choose ok and then enablePostBack

and run Your Pro and ISA  you will fin the desire result
