Is there a way to get a GridView (and associated sqlDataSource) in a panel using ModalPopup Extender to databind on a client side button click without the modal dialog closing and without a postback? Thanks.

    Hi SeeSharpe,

Yes - place an UpdatePanel inside the contents of your ModalPopup and then you can do whatever you want without the popup closing.

    Thanks,
    Ted

Thanks! Works great. Can we use the ModalPopup Extender and UpdatePanel in a User Control? So that we can use that user control on any aspx page.
