Dear All

 I have a data list control.In the item template i have a list of peoples name.When you click on a person name then it atumaticly takes you to edit template mode where i have text boxes where i allow the persons detals such as the name and other information to be changed.This is done to a database.

What i would like to do is as follow:

If a person would like to person to be able to perform some data collection ofline.

So if they go to the page and and see the list of peoples names in the data list is there a way to open all the lusting of items in the data list
in edit mode?So instead of seeing all the peoples names they will see the input fields for each person?

And is there an option that will allow to send that list to the print?Just to put a button on the page that will call the printer? Instead of going to File->Print that
will print the whole page.....i.e I have a master page and the data list is in the content placeholder.I would likw to only print the content placehoder data.

This would be really helpful for me.

 is there a way to put the put the data list to be in edit mode?

lets say i have the data list by default in item template mode. and list some data.

 is it possible to put a button that when clicked will make the data list be in edit mode. so what is diplayed is not the item template mode but the edit mode listing for each record in the data list.?
