Can someone share some light on how to do something like the window that pops up when you try to select the tags for your posts in this forum?

That is the wondow that blocks the backgorund and is transparent?

that script is really neat

 how about something that will disable the back like that window that pops up in this forum? when you select the tags a pop up comes that diables  the background and you can only select the stuff in the pop up, nothing else. It covers the backgorund.

I'm not sure ( you could probably ask at the forum creators site) but I think it is a Modal Pop-up from the AJAX toolkit.
