  • How to tell if a custom WebPart is in a SharePoint or ASP.NET page

    Hi, I think this should be a relatively simple request. I have a number of custom WebParts that may be used with WSS 3.0 as well as in a standard ASP.NET page. I need to be able to tell whether each WebPart is being used in a WSS or ASP.NET page in order to slightly modify some internal functionality...

    Bump! I have the exact same problem as the OP, except for a minor variation in that I would like my users to be able to add/modify/delete the SharePoint lists using the ASP .NET application. Any help/links/tutorials would be greatly appreciated.
