  • Re: Validation of viewstate MAC failed / The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted

I have had this problem in a shared hosting environment. After testing, I discovered that I could experience this problem with even the most basic of web pages, consisting of only a couple of ASP.Net labels and an ASP.Net button. Working within a Session, the pages and site function fine. The problem...

  • session using sql

Hi To my knowledge, one of the disadvantages using session for state management is the use of server memory which can be a problem once the data on session is too much or too many sessions. Can I completely bypass the above problem by using SQLserver mode for session state?

  • Session expires before forms authentication timeouts within a frameset

Hello, I am developing a ASP.NET web application using a frameset. I have a header frame and a lower frame. The lower frame is divided to a left frame (which displays a menu) and a right frame which is my main frame in the application. I am also using forms authentication. When the session expires before...

  • Re: How to solve the HttpException "Invalid_Viewstate_Client_Disconnected" ?

This basically happens when the page is being posted back to server AND the hash generated from view state after rendering controls is not matching with view state content. When client is disconnected in between any processing and again connected to server can be a reason for this. .NET throws error...

  • Odd session timeout in hosting plan.

We developed an ASP.NET 2.0 application which is using a MySQL 4 database using the .NET Mysql connector. The application uses forms authentication for user login and during development it worked fine. Recently we host the application on a service provider, but after user logs in and having the application...
