Re: LCID: how to scaffold language dependent fields from separate tables?
I can then add a custom WHERE clause which can restrict the rows to only those of the current culture
What I did here was add a hidden field and then customise the where of the LinqDataSource like so: < asp:LinqDataSource runat= "server" ID= "GridDataSource"...

Re: LCID: how to scaffold language dependent fields from separate tables?
Yes. Normaly I would write a LINQ query wich select columns from both table in the OnSelecting event. With SQL this would be a JOIN statement.
What I eventualy did was create a view and drop this into the Linq to SQL model this gives me a readonly table called vwProductDetails...

Re: LCID: how to scaffold language dependent fields from separate tables?
I don't see why you can't do that, but what you would need to do is: Use Custom Pages for Displaying and Editing as I think DynamicDataManager is used to populate the DynamicControl/Field with FieldTemplates Handle the OnInserting/OnUpdateing Events of the...

Re: LCID: how to scaffold language dependent fields from separate tables?
Hi FTeR, I've had a good look around and can't find a way to use the ajax toolkit tab container to seperate the languages on the page using either ListView or Repeater I've had a look around and can't see a simple solution to the tabs. For showing all languages at once, I would use custome...

Re: MVC & Globalization / Localization
ok, my question is quite simple. How do I localize a HtmlHelper in ASP.NET MVC. I have a Html.TextBox("UnitPrice"), and I want it to show the price with a comma for de decimal separator instead of a dot. Example: 16,00 instead of 16.00
