Re: Avoid Sharepoint ListID in URL

Hi, I've solved the problem by adding a false custom display form with Sharepoint Designer that contains some Javascript code that modifies the url and redirects to another aspx page with the needed parameters for the webpart. I'm sure there are different, better and less user painfull approaches...

I was able to fix this problem through two different approaches and learned some things along the way. Note: The steps I performed to add the project file and set it as an Embedded Resource are the same (though I did have to change the file location as outlined below). Using ReportViewer in a User Control based Web Part

I am using a ReportViewer control to render a LocalReport which works all fine and dandy. I is even wrapped in an UpdatePanel using ASP.NET AJAX to stop the flicker when expanding and collapsing groupings. Still works nicely. Click and drag the web part and move it around to other zones... fine. Where...
