    Hi guys! iam accessing oracle stored procedure which takes lot of time to complete through asp.net . if the session drop between the execution of SP than SP stops can any one help me in this regard that if session drop between the execution of SP than SP will not stop it will execute in background!

  • Connecting to Oracle 8i

    I am using VS2008 and trying to connect to Oracle db using Oracle 8i 8.1.7 client. I can connect using SQL+, but get this error in VS: System.Data.OracleClient requires Oracle client software version 8.1.7 or greater. Any ideas on what to look for? Version is 8.1.7... Thanks!
