i have the same problem here. tried everything all of you suggested. it won't work. i don't understand it. the membership provider works as expected but the profile-provider doesn't. here is the part of my web.config: < anonymousIdentification enabled= "true" /> < compilation debug= "true" ...

How to change profile provider at runtime, then access user profile data?
