Please Help,I am stuck in the installation itself.(Visual Studio 2008)

Hello everyone, I had previously installed VS 2008 and it was installed successfully,but when tried to run it,it started giving some error.So,I brought another setup ,but then it asked me to remove the previously installed version & I did the same using Add-Remove Programs from the Control Panel...

how to know the record I want to query doesn't exist via LINQ?

Hi all: for example: testDataContext db=new testDataContext(); var res=db.tables.single(p=>p.columnName=="hi"); if there is a record in the database, it works well, but if there isn't , it will throw an exception, then , How could I know the record exists or not ? I don't think exception...
