When You install VS2008 or VWD2008 there is a built in web server that come with VS and VWD that you get by default when you press F5, it's there to save you the hasstle of setting up IIS. You must have set your project differently than default, all I do is file new project choose MVC and then F5...

Themes not working on IIS but working fine on cassini

I have themes on my website and they are working fine on cassini web server, but when i tested my website on the IIS 7 I found themes are not working. What can be the problem. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium.

Yes you should be able to I used to before VS2005 but I don't bother now Cassini. I have debugged on a local intranet IIS Server and I needed to connect via Frontpage there and have remote debuggin installed.
