  • DiscountASP vs GoDaddy

    I want to change my hosting, currently I'm using Brinkster, I don't like the fact that I cannot create the virtual directories for ASP.NET applications myself, I have to ask the support to do this besides I can have no more than 3 virtual directories. So, I'm looking for another hosting....

    I've been playing around with asp .net and SQL Server 2005 Express locally for the past few months. Recently I signed up for a Godaddy shared hosting account. When uploading my files, I found out that I can't just upload my .mdf data files from SQL. I would have to create my own database manually...

    Yeah I used IXWebHosting... for a few hours. Everything seemed great until I realised that their ASP.Net and .Net versions are still 1.1 No ASP.Net 2 .. I don't know how this can be, surely if they kept their win servers up to date they would have to have .Net 2 and at least ASP.Net 2. So I could not...
