CascadingDropDown / WebUserControl problem

Hi all, I've encountered a problem using the CascadingDropDown inside a WebUserControl. I keep getting the "Method Error 500" everytime the dropdowns get populated. The same code works fine in a normal .aspx page, which seems very strange to me. Maybe this control is not intended to use...

Auto Select Parent Item with CascadingDropDown

cascadingdropdown many child share one parent, child of child

CascadingDropDown with two items containing the same value

The default value of maximumJsonLength is 102400, so just make sure it is larger than that - of course unless you already have it larger than 102400.
