All these sub-companies run a desktop software called k&k, which has a sql server database. Now my client needs to access from internet all the reports on leads, invoice etc on a daily basis, over the internet. Right now its cumbersome and he gets like 200 pages of faxes everyday. Please can someone tell me whats the best way to approach the problem and will web service help, and if yes how to go about it. Thanks in advance 2004-07-07T22:27:54-04:00627895http://forums.asp.net/p/627744/627895.aspx/1?Re+Architect+TroubleRe: Architect Trouble >>... he gets like 200 pages of faxes everyday ... This maybe the fax modem can help. You can use winxp or 2k to receive income fax and save to file ( paper save ). only one thing is remember to set the modem protection password from dial attack ( hacker ). >> ... client needs to access from internet all the reports on leads, invoice etc maybe a center server can help. or PCAnywhere ? 2004-07-08T02:14:38-04:00628325http://forums.asp.net/p/627744/628325.aspx/1?Re+Architect+TroubleRe: Architect Trouble So how much are you paying for someone to o your job for you? PS not enough info. To make serious recommendations I'd need to visit the client and site and ask a hundred questions deliver milestones, projections, recommendations for approval. 2004-07-08T12:53:45-04:00
