After updating WebReference i m getting error like "Failed to update web reference"

Error 1 Failed to update Web Reference 'SOAGetAVLDetails.CAM_WS_Z_GET_AVL_DETAILS_vs0'.

Error: The document at the url http://ebzsa02.cccss.com:9920/CAM_WS_Z_GET_AVL_DETAILS_vs0 was not recognized as a known document type.

The error message from each known type may help you fix the problem:

- Report from 'DISCO Document' is 'Root element is missing.'.
- Report from 'WSDL Document' is '(0x80131509)

how to resolve this.?

Seems like the problem is with WSDL file getting generated.

Yes. At first i developed my application using VS 2005 as a web application.it worked fine.

Now migrated to VS2008 as website Application, Once i update the Web/service reference it shows error message like

Error 22 Failed to update Web Reference 'SOAWHSEStockGetList.CAM_WS_BAPI_WHSE_STOCK_GET_LIST_vs0'.
Error:The document at the url http://ebzsa02.ccc.coopcam.com:9920/CAM_WS_BAPI_WHSE_STOCK_GET_LIST_vs0 was not recognized as a known document type.
The error message from each known type may help you fix the problem:
