How to get started with Google Data API?

I am learing Google Data API. I came from C# background. The Google Data API i.e GData provides rich set of library to read/write information from variuos Google services such as Gmail, Google Map, Picasa Web etc. I thought to share some post in case some one is interesting to learn.

All articles examples are in C#.

FWIW, you might better title such information like this, for example:

Vikash says it eloquently ... i know, i've been programming since 1967... in the domain of computer praxis, early in my career, it was relatively easy to know more about PL/I and IBM\360 assembler than most IBM'ers ... as computer science blossomed, is was still possible to be expert in more than one language; even when the IBM PC arrived in the early 1980's, it was not too difficult for anyone with sufficient motivation to be able to perform all of the tasks of an entire I.T. department ... thereafter, by spending more and more time, one, for a few breif years could still remain somewhat of an expert in many areas ... that did not last for too long ... for a while by putting in extra hours, one could only slow down one's rate of falling behind ... now, one has to focus more than ever on smaller areas of expertise ... in my own case, i've given up Java (gladly), c++ (sadly), and long for Perl (madly) ... there are simply too few hours in eash hour (sic).

imho, there are too types of programmers: information sharers and information hoarders ... information hoarders are like a black hole that takes but does not give back ...

fortunately, there are many information shares like Vikash ... kudos to them all.
