System & Software Requirements for SharePoint Services 2007 Installation

Please Let me know what are the software requirements to work with SharePoint Services 2007.

My Understanding:

1. Windows 2003 Server.

2. SQL Server 2005

3. IIS 6.0 or above.

To work with SharePoint Services through .NET applications

4. Visutal Studio 2005

5. Visual Studio 2005 extensions

Please add or modify if my understanding is wrong. and also let me know is it possible to work SharePoint Services 2007 using Visual studio 2003 & Visual Studio 2003 extensions.

hi,

I had already installed sharepoint 2007 in a user machine. Is it possible for me with xp to do developement in sharepoint by accessing it with the IIS or some other way.IS it possible? Or i have to install the sharepoint 2007 in my machine to do development ?
