I am evaluating the new Web Deployment project, and I am having some stability problems.
Steps:
Create a brand new Web Application in Visual Studio 2005 (using the new Web Application plug-in, not a web site)
Configure the Web Application to use Local IIS
Add a "Hello World" message to Default.aspx, and make default.aspx the startup page.
Add a Web Deployment project for my little masterpiece.
Execute a Rebuild All
Get a dialog with the following message: Microsoft Visual Studio has encountered an internal error. "Microsoft Visual Studio may be unstable now. It is recommended that you save all files and exit".
The dialog doesn't exactly look like a Dr. Watson crash dialog, but it does include Send/Don't send error report buttons. (I do send the error report).

Hi,
Maybe should you do desinstall WDP, make a "Repair installation" of your Visual Studio 2005, and then reinstall WDP.
