I am using DNN 2.12 installed in a WH4L server.

I setup my domain name to point to my parent portal and it all works fine.

And then i created a new subdomain using the WH4L control panel.

child.portal.com >> which points to the child portal folder. After setting this up, i set the child portal alias to child.portal.com, portal.com/child, www.portal.com/child

But when i try to access the child portal using the subdomain url. I get an error from the app.

What am i doing wrong? Is this the correct way to set a subdomain for a child portal?
