Seems like you guys can control any egregious posts and remove them, but it would really facilitate the speed of responses and interaction if posts were immediately appended.
We've introduced a new rule today that only thread starting posts (i.e. the first post in the thread) will be moderated. All replies will be auto approved.
We have also put in place SPAM filters so posts deemed by the system to be SPAM will be moderated (regardless of whether or not it is a reply or thread starting post) to prevent those with bad intentions from disrupting the forums.
Moderating the first post in each thread will allow the moderators to ensure that each question is in the forum where it is most likely to be answered quickly and efficiently.
