I'm not quite sure what desing pattern it is (or if there is actually one in place) but what I can tell you is that the organization of the files and the overall structure of the solution is something that I've studied and put into effect in many of my day
to day development and it has saved me a great deal of time not to mention when others see how organized my solutions are they appreciate it alot. It helps to standardize.
