Hi guys,
I 've created a web server appplication and I want to create an installation for that. I've built the set up project.
I 've using the User Interface Editor to add a new dialog box into the install process. ( because I need user to define some seetings, which will then be putted in to the webconfig file).But I couldn't figure out how to get the value from that text box to add
to my webconfig file as a key.
Can anybody helps me as soon as possible please. I am in hurry to get this done now.

I have used Console Application to handle the Custom action that will be called at the installation, but I don't know how do you pass parameter to the console application and how the console application recieve the parametters.

Hi.... i also Came through the same scenario. can plz elaborate the same. how you accessed the textbox value to web.config file.
I have created a Windows service and installing through a setup file. everytime while installing i want user to enter the instance name(Service name). so i can install multiple service on same machine.. can you elaborate me how you are accessed ur textbox
value to the codebehind page. Thanks in advance !!.
