I've created a child portal in DNN 4.0.2 along with the new administrator. I log on as the new admin and add a new module to the home page. I then go into the settings to allow the module to enherit settings from the page and it logs me off and snaps me back to the login screen.  I have done this on several sub portals using different portal templates with the same result.  Is this a bug in the new version or am I the only one experiencing this?

Log yourself as the new admin, edit your profile and fill in the blank fields (or just uncheck what is useless). Sorry to say that but this is one more bug in DNN 4.0.2 I guess we'll have to wait till 4.0.3 comes out.
I know Core Team Members are probably working hard to fix those numerous bugs.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, the validation feature/post back keeps logging me out when I remove any of the check marks while kogged in as the new Admin. Logging in as HOST and removing the check marks does the trick.  Thank you!

Spoke too early.  It persists. After removing the check marks with the HOST account and logging in with the new Admin I still cannot make any changes.  I selected Admin >>Site Settings and the Logo and Body Background say in bold red letters, You don't have permission to see the files on the site. I am researching to see if this an NTFS problem now and will report back, or possibly someone else has the answer.
