    Hi,

DNN4 upgraded successfully to 4.01 however one module seems to be unhappy with it.

The homepage modules all have no content and the following error is present:

    A critical error has occurred.
    Field not found: 'DotNetNuke.Framework.CDefault.Title'.

From my initial investigations it appears to the the core Blog module that is causing it. All other pages are fine, only the page with the blog has the error. I uploaded the blog again fresh and installed it by iotself on a blank page to test and yep, it results in that error above.

I've searched extensively for CDefault and can only find a vb file in the DNN4.00 source zip that refers to it, but nothing else.

Any ideas anyone? The blog is of course the primary homepage component and the site is dead without it :(

    Thanks for any suggestions

    Rob

    for more info see here:

to be short: for some reason the Title propery of CDefault was commented out in DNN 4.0.1. I've created a gemini issue here: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?p=23&i=2208

BTW, there's no version 4.01 yet in gemini?

    Nicely spotted Erik :D

I've carried this query on in the projects forum thread where you have also responded.

Anyone following this issue, head along to the thread mentioned:
