I'm using Beta2 VS2005 (still!).
Trying to create an OleDBDataAdapter by dragging an Access database table onto a Form but get a black circle with diagonal line within (which I assume is 'can't be done!' sign).

Any suggestions?

Where are you dragging Access database table to - webform design view, source view or...?  I don't have Beta2 build to try at this moment, but drag and drop an Access table onto both design view or source view works fine for me.  Could you give me a little more information?
 

I hate to waste peoples time.  I think my dataconnection was somehow too convoluted as now I've redefined things and dragging works.  Thanks though!
