Please check out the new and improved search engine at http://forums.asp.net/es. As always, we're open to any feedback you might have so leave us some comments here on the forums.
When I search with my forums ID or my complete name I get only 28 results. It still is not showing up all the results.
That's probably because you aren't using the proper search criteria. Try using entering 'user:' before your username. Also, the beta search was indexed against a database from last Sunday so it does not include this week's posts.
Out of total posts of around 919,451 (at the time of writing this message) the beta search is displaying that it has idexed only
713,369
Correct. There a few things at work there:
1) The data indexed for the beta search is a week old
2) There are private forums that are not indexed but that are included in the total you see on the front page
3) There are old retired forums that are not indexed but are included in the total you see on the front page
Thanks for your quick response. Even after taking the points you have mentioned into consideration, I still see lot of variation in the final results given by the beta search tool. Not sure, if others are also experiencing the same.

Well, 'variation' doesn't tell us much. Can you be more specific please?
Out of 600 odd posts that I have posted on this forum....even after taking into consideration the points you have mentioned, I should get at least 400+ results.....
The current beta gives me only 20-25 results. I am searching by entire name " Narayana rao Surapaneni" and also my forums ID: narayanas

As I said before, you need to preface your username with 'user:'. Here is what the url would look like if you were to follow my direction:
