I'm working with a DNN 2.1.2 site, but I have to warn you that I know nothing about programming.  The programmer is gone for two months and I'm holding down the fort - I'm a content person.  We had MapQuest modules throughout our pages and they've stopped working.  They don't give any errors, just don't display the maps.  Haven't made any changes to the site between the time they were working and when they stopped working... from a few of the other posts I read on here, it sounds like MapQuest might be blocking us - I didn't realize until now that we were violating any of their rules (if we are, it seems from the other posts that maybe we wer).  I was just wondering if anyone knows of anything similar to the MapQuest module for DNN 2.1.2? I browsed through Snowcovered but didn't see anything like it...

    Thanks so much!

This started happening about a week or 2 ago. It's most likely on the MapQuest end. I was thinking it was a "temporary outage" on their part, but I'm now beginning to think the free ride for snagging maps may be over.. lol. I'd love to see a remedy. Luckily i only had 6 instances of the module, so I just saved the maps and used the text/html module to create static versions w/ links to the mapquest url.

    Skypot,

Purchasing a module won't change the legality of using maps from MapQuest.  There isn't a legal way around this problem by just purchasing a module.  By MapQuest usage your only allowed to have links to there site your not supposed to have there maps displayed on your site unless you subscribe to there subscription service.   Prices for that where posted in another thread.  Cost was very high.

So for now legally there's no fix.  One of the sites I maintain has the same problem.
