We just start a Philadelphia DotNetNuke SIG as part of PhillyDotNet.org. We just had our first meeting with about 30 folks showing up. This was a great event and we learned a little about Module development and the History of DNN and Nukes (not the weapons;
the CMS!). The event was held at Microsoft's Malvern office. If you are interested in this meeting register at PhillyDotNet.org and check the schedule for the next meeting in July. What follows was our first announcement:
DotNetNuke SIG - Tuesday June 14, 2005 We have a kickoff meeting for our new DotNetNuke SIG at Microsoft Malvern next Tuesday night. Todd Davis from Seabury Design (check out his training videos at
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Default.aspx?tabid=810) and Hal Dell from ePodWorks.net will will present. Bill Wolff will talk about TechEd in Orlando this past week.

PhillyDotNet.org.
<div> <div>John Baird from Naturometics, Inc. will give a presentation
on DotNetNuke Skinning and Containers for DotNetNuke 3.x including the
.htm, .dnn and .ascx file structures.
I will make a presentation on how the built-in Search Engine
within the DotNetNuke Framework for 3.x works and how you can communicate with the Search Engine to have your own custom data indexed. While DNN Search Engine runs as a DNN Scheduled task which are similar in concept
to Services; the DNN Scheduler has some limitations that will be discussed.
