  As i know, the date picker is a component in VS.net. what if im not a VS.net user? im using web matrix as my IDE, and i need date picker. Any idea..?

  To the best of my knowledge there is no ASP.NET date picker shipped with Visual Studio .NET. All ASP.NET date pickers are built by 3rd party component vendors. Several are listed in the "Control Gallery" section of this website. See http://asp.net/ControlGallery/default.aspx?Category=43&tabindex=2
  
  We also market a couple date picker options. BDP Lite (Free) and Basic Date Picker ($85 and up).
  
  You do not require Visual Studio .NET to work with any .NET web control as we have supported many developers whom use our date pickers with a text editor and/or Dreamweaver.
