I'm trying to launch, cassini to serve my aspx pages! Well I've installed the distribution from this website, and called the build batch file. Yet..when I launch it:
CassiniWebServer <path> 8080
I'm gettin an error:
Cassini Managed Web Server Failed to start listening on port 8080 Possible conflict with another web server on the same port.
Now, I'm totally sure that both Apache(8000) and IIS are off!..but still the Cassini does not work...
Most likely you do not have gacutil.exe and Cassini was not registered properly. Make sure you run build.bat from a command prompt so you can see any error messages.
