When i try to contact my web service , it is giving the following error:
Client found response content type of 'text/html; charset=utf-8', but expected 'text/xml'.
How can i solve this?

i think, the problem lies in web.config file.
try to do the following :
if there is no spaces and the first line of the web.config looks ok then, try to remove the web.config file and add new web.config file
hope this will solve ur problem.

After researching this problem it was found that the fault lies in the timout values in the web server.

<httpRuntime maxRequestLength="102400" executionTimeout="2700"/>

The very first thing that I check, and this usually solves it, is that all of the fields from the initial query design and the query properties match. I will get this if I go back to Query Builder and remove a field but forget to take it out of my query
designer and try to run the report. HTH.
