after installing IIS i ran "http://localhost/localstart.asp" in IE and works perfectly.
If i try to access "http://localhost/localstart.asp" in firefox, i am required and username and password, and i realy have no ideea what should i enter.
I loggin to win without any pass, and the only pass i have on win is for some kind of super admin, but i have never been promted for; also i have installed SP2.
also i am interested in running my project by default with firefox; can it be done?? or do i have to access it through firefox directly and not use the run in Visual Studio .net IDE??
You can set vs.net to use any browser you want as the default. Right click a webform or html page. Click Browse with. Select the browser. Click Set as Default.
The localstart page I think requires IE.
