Whenever I copy HTML that contains a table, input field, etc. VSNet adds an ID tag like 'ID="table1"'. This is making me nuts - I'm doing a lot of work for mobile products -Blackberry, PDA & page size is *very* important. I have to manually remove these tags
to keep page sizes as small as possible but I'd rather not have it do this at all, if possible.
I don't think you can control that; just like it rearranges your HTML; that is uncontrollable. Brian

Go to "Options..." and drill down to Text Editor -> HTML -> Miscellaneous. Uncheck the option that says "Auto ID elements on paste in Source view".

There is no such setting in 2003. It was added in 2005+
