I find it strange that 3 guys would get to a counter and each give a $10 bill. Because of this I am assuming that these were minors and very nervous. The bartender could probably sense this and had to decide on whether or not to sell them the bottle. Since
the price was pretty low I am guessing this was around happy hour or a weekend night. The bartender knew he could get away with it because of crowd and decided to sell it. As he was making the transaction the cops jumped in and grabbed the 3 guys and the bartender.
There was a bit of a skirmish when this occurred so the 5 ones (bartender gave ones to get a tip) flew in the air onto the ground. As the bartender and 3 guys were face down on the ground they started grabbing the ones. As luck would have it the bartender
snagged $2 on the first try and each guy only grabbed $1.
> No missing dollar. But if you close one eye, hop on one leg, do all the maths backwards while chanting you DO INDEED LOSE A DOLLAR. Not to mention a few IQ points.
Kragie, doing the math your way, they actually steal a dollar. Don't forget about the + 3 returned (25 + 3 = 28 [of course then the 2 ... oh forget it]).
How do you figure picky? Who steals a dollar? I'm with KraGiE, why are you adding the 2 pocketed dollars when they should be subtracted to = alcohol purchase price. Or as your equation above demonstrates. .in the other direction alcoohol price + pocketed money
+ change = original cash on bar. Either way I don't see any dollars missing.
Yea so onto another one that many may or may not know. What's light as air and if you put it in a barrel, it would make the barrel lighter? or. How far can you run into a forest?
In this world there are 10 types of people, those that know binary and those who don't.
welp that took all of 6 minutes, thanks :) Let's see, there's a guy that lives on the 20th floor of a building.. In the morning he rides the elevator all the way down to the 1st floor and in the evening he only rides the elevator to the 10th floor and then
uses the stairs to get to his home on the 20th. He doesn't do this for excersize either, what other reason would he do this?

I would have answered sooner but I was finishing the header logo for my new look site (www.dlpwd.co.uk (not completed yet, but have a look)) Here's a few more. They are quite easy but have a go anyway. The police are called to the scene of a death, they arrive
at a tall building with an empty truck outside. They enter the building and go to the top floor where they find a man hung 20ft in the air from a hook in the ceiling. The man is dead and the police decide that it's suicide, but there is nothing in the room,
no sign of a ladder, in fact the only thing in the room is the damp carpet on the floor - no furniture, no curtains, shelves, nothing. How could this be suicide? A woman shoots her husband. She then drowns him in water for five minutes. She then decided to
hang him. Shockingly, ten minutes later her husband, fit and well, goes out to dinner with her. How can this be? In what month of the year do Americans eat least? Name 3 consecutive days without using the letter U. Which is correct:- a] the yolk of all eggs
is white or b] the yolk of all eggs are white ? A man walks into a bar and orders a glass of water. The barman does not give him a glass of water, but instead he pulls out a gun from behind the counter and points it at the man. The man merely smiles, says
'Thanks!" and leaves. Why? There was an aeroplane crash, and every single person on board was killed. Yet there were survivors of the crash. How come? Sorry, got a bit carried away. That's enough to keep you busy for a while.
I don't know them all but . . 3 consecutive days w/o U : Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday The yolk of all eggs are yellow. (not white). Still thinking about the others. .
